New York... New York.

What a blast! I almost don’t know where to begin.

During March I took part in the international Art Expo in Manhattan. Artexpo is one of the most comprehensive events of its kind and has been defining popular art for more than a quarter of a century. It's the highlight of the spring season in the United States' art circles and draws tens of thousands of art enthusiasts each year.

For me this was a huge step. Ten years ago I told myself that the two ultimate cities to exhibit would be London and New York. London turned into a wondrous reality in 2002, but in my wildest dreams I never would have imagined my creations hanging New York so soon afterwards. I just knew it was something I had to do and everything just fell magically into place sometimes minutes before deadlines.

Jacob K. Javits Convention Center opened their doors on March 1, and within the first morning I already came to realize that I haven’t brought nearly enough works. A huge thank you to everyone in the New York area that came and stopped by. I am truly humbled by all the support and encouragement.

What next?

Las Vegas! I have never had the privilege to visit Las Vegas, but this coming fall that is about to change. I will be taking part in Artexpo Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort September 28-30 and I sincerely hope to be able to meet more of the people that helped me turn a passion into a career.

Then I have also been invited to take part in a Women’s Artist Exhibit together with Allison Corey Fine Art Gallery in Great Neck, New York. This exhibit will benefit the National Breast Cancer Association and take place early in October.

Besides Las Vegas and New York, I will be taking part in several juried exhibitions around Indianapolis and the Midwest. I will keep my Resume updated as the exact dates becomes available.

Another thank you.

I really do need to thank Julianna Thibodeaux, chief art critic for Nuvo. During the Richmond Art Museum’s 108th Annual Juried Exhibition she awarded my painting; Hiding in the Dream Again best ‘Portrait of Figure.’ Julianna, thank you so much!

Lastly

TJ and I will be on a motorcycle trip visiting Canada (Montreal & Quebec) and then Bangor, Maine and Cape Cod on our way back. Therefore no artworks will be shipped between the 4th and the 13th of May.

A huge thanks to all of you!

Sincerely,
Antoine
