New York, New York
What a show! This year has been the third time that I took part in the international New York Artexpo at the Javits Convention Center in downtown Manhattan. As a lot of things are changing not only in the economy but also in the art world, I had no idea how this year’s exhibition would turn out. In the end it was not only my best Artexpo ever, but I also returned with a solo artist award. (I really have no idea why I really got it, but decided just to be grateful) For more about my New York exhibit see my Blog Post.
New Galleries
At the New York Artexpo I got a large number of new galleries that will be representing me and/or exhibiting my work. These include Studio E Gallery in Greenport NY, Playhouse Gallery in Suffern NY, Off the Wall in Houston TX, Expressive Living in Wantagh, NY as well as Nan Miller Gallery in Rochester NY. I will also be taking part in a group exhibition together with Nan Miller Gallery opening April 30th so if you are in the upstate New York area, feel free to stop by.
Publishing Contract
In the past few years I have been contacted by a number of publishers, but until now my gut feeling has always been to stay personally in charge of all the areas of my work and therefore I have declined. It is only recently that the Encore Art Group contacted me that I decided to reconsider. I came to realize that the time is here to get the right team to help distribute my work to a much wider audience. Therefore I am very excited about working with the Winn Devon team in publishing and distributing limited edition giclees of my most recent works!

New Work
This week I have added 16 new pieces to my website’s Art for Sale section. I will be shipping a large number of my available work to my new galleries in about a week so these will only be available from my studio for a very short time.

Coming Up
If you read my last newsletter, you may remember that I mentioned working on a new edition of my website, AntoineArt.com. I was certain that the new site would be up by now, however with a computer that crashed while in NY (guess my Mac did not like traveling as much as I do) and several technical glitches this is still a work in progress.
Last but not least
On a personal note, I would like to share that TJ and I have decided to contribute to the next generation. If all goes well we will welcome two new little pink feet into this world in August.
