1977
June 17, Antoine de Villiers was born in Potchefstroom, South Africa.
1984 to 1995
Attended public school, Potchefstroom, South Africa.
1996
Studied B.A. Communication with Graphic Design at the Potchefstroom University
1997 –1998
Represented by In Fin Art at the Tygerberg Valley; Cape Town’s V&A waterfront; Pablo's Art Gallery, Somerset West and Jaarsma Art Gallery in Potchefstroom.
Antoine ran her Art Studio in Stellenbosch, South Africa and exhibited in a variety of group exhibitions and the Grahamstown National Arts Festival.
September 1998, Antoine went solo during the first ‘Aardklop’ National Art Festival back in her hometown, Potchefstroom and had an almost sold out exhibition.
1999,
Antoine had her second very successful solo exhibition at The Exchange, located in the very trendy Melville, Johannesburg.
Third solo exhibition at the Dada Café Stellenbosch, ‘Piece with White’. This title was due to the drastic changes that occurred on her palette as she beat depression.
September 1999 Antoine returned to the Aardklop National Art festival with a body of work consisting of almost 60 original pieces.
2000
Antoine traveled to the UK. After a few months in London, she moved to Heathfield, East Sussex and got representation by Lewis Art Gallery.
2001
September, Antoine returned to South Africa for another solo show together with the Aardklop Arts festival in her beloved hometown, Potchefstroom.
2002
Antoine came back to Europe touring the Netherlands, Italy and Ireland. Shortly afterwards she returned to London to host her first solo exhibition in the capital, at The Mook in Notting Hill. The 35 original pieces made up Antoine’s very first solo exhibition away from her home country.
December 2002, Antoine returned to South Africa, via another visit to France and the Netherlands, to be joined in marriage with her soul mate on a beautiful white African beach.
2003
January, Antoine and her husband, TJ relocated to the United States and in August, Antoine kicked off a solo exhibition in her new studio together with Archway Festival, in Centerville, Indiana.
Later in November 2003, 10 of her artworks were shown at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art and that same month, a work titled ‘Dawn’ was selected by juror Nathan Richie, Curator of the Swope Art Museum for Richmond Art Museum’s annual juried exhibition.
December 2003, ArtLink in Fort Wayne featured Antoine’s marble sculpture, ‘Free Oneself’ in their miniature exhibition, while one of her figure drawings was also part of a charity exhibition in Royal Castle, Warsaw, Poland.
2004
Paul Wynter, director of LondonArt in England invited Antoine to take part in their first ‘Love’ exhibition that took place around Valentine’s Day. Five of her works were shipped to London where they were featured at the Arndean Gallery in Cork Street, London.
Later that year Antoine was contacted by La Mostra Gallery situated at the Waterfront in Cardiff, Wales asking to represent her.
November 2003, three of Antoine’s originals were chosen for Richmond Art Museum’s juried exhibit by juror, Homer O. Hacker, who described Antoine’s piece, ‘Welwese’ as “a very powerful piece of art”.
2005
Antoine’s work once again traveled to London in order to be a part of another ‘Love’ exhibition organized by LondonArt, this time at the very prestigious Oxo Tower Wharf Gallery, while La Mostra Gallery featured original Antoines throughout Wales.
Antoine’s work was once again selected for the Richmond Museum’s Juried Exhibit by Rachel Perry, curator of the Indiana State Museum.
November 2005, Patterson Sims, director of the Montclair Art Museum, New Jersey selected Antoine’s photograph ‘Andy's Galvanization’ for Indiana University East’s juried exhibition.
December, she exhibited in a group show at the Uptown Innovation Center in Richmond.
2006
Antoine represented by Palette Gallery in California.
Exhibited at Women's Commission Show exhibition at the Whitewater Art Gallery in March and Whitewater Valley Artists Consortium Exhibition in August.
Antoine’s work was also selected for Indiana University East’s juried exhibition by Pamela Franks from Yale University.
At the Richmond Art Museum, Antoine’s painting titled ‘Hiding in the Dream Again’ was awarded best ‘Portrait of Figure’ by Juror Julianna Thibodeaux, chief art critic for Nuvo.
2007
During the first three months of 2007 Kane Marie Gallery featured six of Antoine’s originals in a nude exhibition in Virginia Beach, VA.
In March Antoine took part in the New York Art Expo, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York City, United States.

Richmond Art Works' 'Tree Show' in benefit of the Cope Environmental Center, Richmond, Indiana, United States
In September Antoine took part in a ‘Woman by Woman’ exhibition presented by Allison Corey Fine Art Gallery New York, in benefit of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer, as well as the very first ArtExpo Las Vegas.
2008
March Antoine again took part in the New York Art Expo, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York City, United States.
In April Antoine’s work was selected for "From Women's Hands" and in September for a Whitewater Artist Consortium exhibition both at the Indiana University East’s Art Gallery.
During October i2 Art Gallery in Saffron Walden, United Kingdom invited Antoine to be their featured artist during a six-week exhibition. At the same time Antoine took part in a ‘Life’ exhibition at The Bronze Gallery in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, United Kingdom.
Jim Yood, professor and art critic from Chicago selected Antoine’s photograph ‘Sink’ for the annual juried exhibition at Indiana University East in November. Shortly after David Kwasigroh, curator of exhibitions in Upstate New York, selected another of Antoine’s photographs ‘Below the Surface’ for the Richmond Art Museum’s 110th annual juried exhibition.
2009
February Antoine once again took part in the New York Art Expo, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York City, United States.
